Report: Slovakia expects 30% lower gas supplies from Russia

PRAGUE, Jun 16 (PRIME) -- SPP, Slovakia’s gas importer, expects a 30% fall in Russian gas supplies, basing on the information of gas giant Gazprom, TAZ television channel reported on Thursday citing SPP’s management.

“SPP firm expects that Gazprom will decrease its supplies by around 30%. SPP’s management said that the move will not impact its clients,” the channel reported.

According to the television channel’s data, Slovakia now receives from Russia 85% of the gas it needs, and transits Russian gas to Western Europe.
